Each year, the Men’s Club raises funds to be returned to the community of Huntington Woods.  100% of the net proceeds from these fundraising events are returned to the City of Huntington Woods to support programs, events, and special projects.  Since the Club’s inception, over $1,200,000 has been raised and reinvested in the city.

The Club’s four fundraisers are:

  • Tax Raffle – July
  • City-wide Golf Outing – September
  • Cider and Donut Sale – October
  • Annual Service Auction – March

Annually, the money supports:

  • 4th of July Parade
  • Summer Family Night at Burton Park
  • Fall Hay Day
  • Recycler of the Month Award
  • City Calendar publication
  • New Residents Reception
  • Men’s Club Past President’s Scholarship Fund

In addition, a special project is selected each year for support.  Recent projects have been:

2008 -  Rec Center bleachers
2007 – Remodeling of the Library & Cultural Center Kitchen
2006 – Paving of Burton Field running track, portable bleachers for city parks, and new deck chairs for the pool.
2005 – Reynolds Park Phase II – New play structures.
2004 – New decorative street signs throughout the city.
2003 - Reynolds Park Phase I – Infrastructure upgrades – added or replaced fencing, pathways, picnic tables, drinking fountain, and landscaping.
