The
Silent Auction, beginning at 6:00 p.m., includes a spectacular selection
of both items and services that are displayed on tables accompanied with
their bid sheets. Attendees bid on the items by writing their bid dollar
amount on the bid sheet accompanying that item. When the table closes,
the highest bidder will be the winner of that item. Check out the list
of incoming items in the Silent Auction Listings.
This event is for adults, 21 and older.
The Live Auction, at 8:30 p.m., is a traditional live
auction format with attendees competitively bidding against each other
by raising their hand and the auctioneer recognizing their bid. Some fantastic
items are going on the block this year! Check out the list on the Live
Auction Preview .
Payment for auction items can be made by cash,
check or VISA and MasterCard.
You'll still be able to bid on items by filling out
the Absentee Bid Form and
an Auction representative will bid for you.

It's
not too late! We accept donations up until the day of the Auction. Contact
one of our Co-Chairs, Doug
Deeds or Aaron Cloutier.

Our Service
Auction is the best way for us to raise funds. With state budget cuts,
Huntington Woods and cities of similar size feel the pinch more so than
larger cities. We donate a large portion of the proceeds to City projects
that would not otherwise be possible. Each year, we thoroughly consider
where our dollars would most benefit the residents. From the Jaws of Life
for our Dept. of Public Safety, to new park equipment ...we find where
we can assist most effectively. See
our Achievements Section for a list of past donations made to the City.
The remainder of the proceeds are divided among our various recipients
such as Junior Achievement programs and others as listed in our Community
Support Section. We feel Huntington Woods is a wonderful community
and we do what we can to keep it that way.
